Privacy Policy

FacelessReel: AI Video Maker helps you create faceless short videos. We built the app to collect as little as possible. You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contacts.

What stays on your device

Almost everything you create is stored locally in the app on your device and is not sent to us:

• Your projects, story text, chosen voices, captions, and settings.
• Generated voiceovers, which are created entirely on your device.
• Background clips and generated images used in your videos.
• Custom avatars you make from your own photos.
• Finished videos you export.

What we process to make features work

Some features send a request to our servers so we can generate content for you. When you use them, the relevant text is transmitted securely to power that feature:

• Story ideas and scripts — the topic or story you enter is sent to generate title and story suggestions.
• Background images — a short description based on your story is sent to generate a background image.

This content is used only to return the result you asked for. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Anonymous app identifier

The app generates a random, anonymous identifier stored securely on your device. It lets our servers process your generation requests and understand overall app activity. It is not linked to your real-world identity and is not shared with advertisers.

Photos

If you make a custom avatar, the app reads the single photo you pick using the system photo picker — the app does not browse your library. When you save a finished video, the app asks for permission to add it to your Photos. Photos are handled on your device.

Purchases

If you buy anything in the app, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account or collect your name, email, or contacts.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Children

FacelessReel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
